HealthForge.org is moving forward with it's original charter which is to provide a community for open source health care solutions. The interest in open source solutions within health care is growing and there needs to be a concentrated effort from the community to provide educated solutions for the health care IT world. This site will ultimatly become a resource for community development, expanding open source opportunities, educating on open source solutions, and sharing ideas and concepts.
This is an unprecidented time for open source health care initiatives. Now is the time to lay a solid foundation for growing and expanding the solutions through eduction and community efforts.
