HealthForge.org is moving forward with it's original charter which is to provide a community for open source health care solutions. The interest in open source solutions within health care is growing and there needs to be a concentrated effort from the community to provide educated solutions for the health care IT world. This site will ultimately become a resource for community development, expanding open source opportunities, educating on open source solutions, and sharing ideas and concepts.
This is an unprecedented time for open source health care initiatives. Now is the time to lay a solid foundation for growing and expanding the solutions through eduction and community efforts.
HealthForge is committed to keeping our open source solutions free. We believe in delivering a high quality healthcare framework that is not only robust enough to meet meaningful use and fully manage a practice but fulfill the needs of any size health organization.
